The bass have come out of winter hybernation, and are beginning to spawn (reproduce). You can get some monsters as the big momma bass are usually sitting on the nest and will attack anything you throw at them, worms, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jigs...Just ask the 24" 6.24 lber on my wall. ;) Now I fish bass tourneys and always catch and release.
