The boat sounds like it is nice, especially with the extra equipment that is on board. Just make sure that the 9.9 motor is in good shape, if not then you will have to eventually buy a new motor and remember that boat motors typically cost about 100.00 per horse power so depending on what you buy it could get expensive. As long as the motor is in good shape this boat should last you for a long time. I bought my first boat when i was 16 it was similar to the one you are looking at and now i am 37 and i still have it, as long as you take care of it it will last you forever. good luck

Sounds like a real good buy. The 9.9 motor should be worth that or more just by itself.

yes it's a great buy, depending on the type of fishing your doing, It would be a good starter boat. a new trolling motor will cost you between 200 and 400 dollars and an outboard 9.9 would probably run you close to 500 for a used one. If your planing on tournment fishing you would need at least a 17'6" with a steering wheel and livewells. good luck.

couple of things to remember there is no such thing as a nice boat, there are only two good days when you have a boat, the day you buy it and the day you sell it, also keep in mind that boat stands for break out another thousand, boats in general are just holes in the water this is just my opinion if you really want it it sounds like a good deal but maybe it would be better if a friend bought it so you can still use and just chip in on fuel

make sure to get a title on the boat and motor if applicable in your state. Have someone who knows check out the motor. Check the gear oil in the lower unit .Make sure it isn't milky (a sign of a bad seal) If those two work out go for it.
