Could These Be Signs That Someone Is Being Abused?

She shakes and gets anxious when it is almost time for him to get home. She runs through the house like a chicken with its head cut off making sure everything is just so.
She gets quiet whenever I bring him up and says he’s really a good guy, just temperamental.
I’ve seen bruises on her arms and legs occasially.
She doesn’t fix herself up anymore, sometimes hardly showers.
She used to be a lot more active in life, now she seems unmotivated and apathetic.
She is failing school, tragically. She used to have a GPA of 3.8 I’d hate to see what it is now. She might get financial aid restriction.
I’ve sometimes seen her fishing through apartment finders, despondently, saying things like, without him she couldn’y afford the place, or any other.
I’ve overheard him make comments to her like, “Why can’t you just be normal?” or “You’re truly pathetic.” and “Before you met me, you could barely take care of yourself.”

Can somebody give me some tips ? Me and a friend of mine decided to enter a tournament this fall . We have cought a few but…. The last couple of tourneys we’ve been skunked . We’ve been seeing the fish on the finder but can’t get them to bite . We have tried every thing in our boxes - jigs,grubs,worms,dropshot with 3” worms,spoons every type of crank you can think of and still, no bite !The water is cold about 35 F. , The fish are about 20-30 ft. Other people have been bringing them in though . THANKS

I’ve used dating sites many times and it’s always a frustrating experience. I rarely get a responese. I’d say something like 2%. I tried many different approaches to the how I introduce myself (real and fake). I thought that maybe it’s me. Maybe I’m not good looking enough. So I tried several different photos of normal people I found on the internet. Not much luck. It’s like there are 100 guys for every girl. The only dates that I have been able to get is with girls that are significantly less attricative than I am. Even with them I usually don’t get responses. I don’t like dating sites because I get so tired of rejection that I take anything I can get. But I work in IT so my options for meeting women are limited. What’s the deal? How do women pick the guys they respond to?
I’m 27, 6 feet tall, average looking 7/10 - according to HOTORNOT dot com. I know I’m being too analytical, but it’s bothering me to the point where I think I’ve developed a complex:-)
sites used: plenty of fish, friend finder, match.com, yahoo personals, plus other small sites.

Fly Fishing: A Question About Using More Than One Fly On Your Leader?

I have only ever fished with a single fly on my leader, however when using more than one fly on your leader, are the flies attached a various points in a straight line on the leader, or do you attach more leader to the main leader using dropper loops? I’m guessing that in the case of nymphs, it would make more sense to me to have the heaviest fly on the tip of the leader perhaps.

I have a 23ft boat brand Scout Abaco 222. The motor is a Yamaha 200 with two batteries, a fish and depth finder, marine radio, and a Furuno radar system with 36 nautical mile range.
