Try a reputible boat builder for info i used to work for Hardy Marine and we helped people out if we could. Look them up on the internet and see if they can help.

I Have An Apelco Fish Finder. Can I Splice The Transducer Cable? Shoot Through Hull With Transom Transducer?

I purchased a used Apelco 265 Depth Sound Fish Finder. Time to get rid of the original strobe sounder!!!!
I ran the wires today and came up short by about 3 ft. Can I splice the transducer wires? I will soldier the splices…..

Looking To Buy A Fish Finder. Would Like To Buy A Hummingbird. Looking For Clear View Of Bottom Structure?

Unless you want a side imaging sonar i’d go with a Lowrance over a Hummingbird. The side imaging sonars from Hummingbird start at about 999.99, but have the clearest bottom structure view of anything on the market.
